Founded by a group of enterprising Vietnamese, Palmania aims to maintain and develop traditional palm sugar production of the Khmer ethnic group in An Giang, Vietnam, and Scorch was commissioned to craft an identity that reflects elements of modernity and heritage. In turn, this not only helps Palmania’s to develop a local product of international standard but also augmented their social responsibility in preserving the traditional craft of the Khmer people in Vietnam.

The logo mark of Palmania was designed to assumed an abstract sihoulette of a palmyra tree. It was meant to delineate the core essence of the company's key product, and to also demonstrate its stance on innovation and sustaining the heritage of palm sugar production in Vietnam.
